Back when your glory, peace, and love was all we knew.
How far, we have wandered.
How far, we have strayed.
We would still be there, if only we hadn't disobeyed.
How has it come to this? How can it be?
Have we really forgotten, that you are the key?
Are we so dull, that we have repressed our first love?
Have we truly disremembered our Father, up above?
Awaken our hearts! Shake up our lives!
Perhaps, then we will realize.
You are god of everything, great and small.
All-knowing, all-powerful ruler of all.
Take us back to when it all began
Back before the great fall of man.
We'll sit and listen as you tell of your day.
We have plans to discuss, we have much to say.
We will walk hand in hand, reminisce days of 'ol.
